Here is one poem I wrote during February of 2020. I would invite the readers to engage in the interpretation as I have made the poem intentionally ambiguous. I hope the readers will provide some analysis or feedback.

It has been a while since I have written anything creative. I would like to get back to writing some more poems and stories. I will try to share some random poems or stories in these episodes of random talk once in a while. Thank you!

DEMON-HAUNTED MIND

Smoke ascends

Hovers against white ceiling canvas

Glides across like monstrous phantasm

Reflecting smoker’s mind

His thoughts – melancholic dark

Concocts demons and gods

Demons the heroes, gods the villains

Same old story

Heroes vanquish villains

And dance to the chaos in his head

People he knew

People he hated

People he loved

Materialize subconsciously

Suffer gruesome deaths

At the hand of the heros

Voiceless echoing cries

Even when the cigarette is out

Horrifying resonating wails

As the demons dance in the empty void.
